Emily is a global specialist in nutrition, sustainable foodways, and creative arts. She earned Board Certification in Holistic Nutrition in 2025, and opened a virtual nutrition private practice, Ciclo Well Clinic. In addition, her passion for health and nature, has her led to work in urban agriculture, food systems, and the farm to school space for a number of years. Outside of nutrition, she designs and facilitates programs that reconnect people with nature and where their food comes from, while building ecological integrity, and establishing partnerships with regional and local partners.

She has implemented and managed Farm to School programming with Rooted, and has taught cooking lessons with elementary students, high school students, and at various apartment-based neighborhood centers. While with Rooted, Emily also worked with the Madison Metropolitan Food Service Director to procure local foods into school lunches, and she led outdoor garden education with youth.

Emily has had her research featured by the National Association of Nutrition Professionals. Alongside her achievements in nutrition, she is also an accomplished photographer and artist. Her work has been commissioned for Bonberi's (Nicole Berrie) cookbook, Body Harmony, which was later featured in Vogue. She has been commissioned to photograph Yoga on the Rocks in Colorado, and renowned chefs from around the world with Ishinoko Kitchen in Japan.

Through this multidisciplinary work, centered around food, Emily strives to cultivate a future that prioritizes public health, green cities, and preservation of ecological integrity.
